It is the way we design and engineer Tri-Steel Homes that makes homes built with our framing system better. Most homes built today are “crafted”. They are not engineered! Craft built homes for framing use lumber, composites, concrete, or steel studs applied with the “Stick for Stick” or the “Prescriptive Method”. In most cases nails or rivets hold the parts together with friction only. The strength and durability of craft built homes is not measurable or known and relies upon redundancy, art, and experience to gain permits for building.

In contrast, the strength of Tri-Steel’s “pre-engineered steel framing system” is known and measurable. Our frame parts are fastened with steel screws and bolts of known strength and load resistance. We build our designs to last and withstand the hazards and environmental conditions that the location of each residence presents. In addition we deliver the materials for each framing system in an assembly ready “kitted” package at the building site. Our design and “kitting” service cuts material cost, labor cost, assembly cost, scrap cost and call back cost for the builder and the homeowner. “Better” also means that when a builder is skilled in building Tri-Steel framed homes he can earn higher returns while offering each homebuyer a more durable and secure home with lower occupancy costs than the same home framed with wood.
