Tri-Steel Homes is the leading designer and manufacturer of pre-engineered residential steel framing systems. Located in Lake Dallas, Texas, Tri-Steel is a privately-held, company.

Tri-Steel’s framing systems are marketed to home buyers through a network of qualified builders located across the United States and in over 50 foreign countries.

Tri-Steel began in 1976, in Billings, Montana, as a private-labeled metal farm building business with a loan from the Small Business Administration. In May of 1980, Tri-Steel relocated to Denton, Texas.

In September 2003, Tri-Steel was purchased by Jon Reynolds and a group of investors. Reynolds became Chief Executive Officer of the company, with another of the investors, Richard Warren, remaining as Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operating Officer. Stephen Flournoy, Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Marketing, rounds out the management team.

Today Tri-Steel Homes is focused on mass production of homes by selling steel framing directly to qualified homebuilders.
